Pillar 03 · Systems

Custom systems for problems software can't solve off the shelf.

When manual work, disconnected tools, or copy-paste chaos is slowing your business down and no product on the market fixes it, we design and build targeted automations, integrations, dashboards, and internal tools.

We begin with the problem, recommend the simplest viable approach, and use custom development only when it creates enough value to justify ownership and maintenance.

How it works

Review first. Build only when it's justified.

01

Systems Opportunity Review

A bounded review of one operational problem: your workflow, tools, data, volume, and what it's costing you. It ends with an honest recommendation to configure, buy, automate, build, or don't.

02

Custom build, only when justified

Defined scope, security, acceptance criteria, testing, and a clear handoff. You own the result.

03

Optimization & support

Optional ongoing monitoring, maintenance, training, and improvements.

What it costs

Real numbers, before you ask.

Starting at
$1,500
Most custom builds
$5,000 – $20,000

A Systems Opportunity Review is a bounded, fixed-fee engagement starting at $1,500, and it ends with an honest recommendation — sometimes that recommendation is not to build anything. Custom builds are scoped after that review.

These are planning ranges, not quotes. We scope every project first and put the number in writing before any work starts, so what you approve is what you pay. If your budget is smaller than the range, say so — we will tell you honestly what can be done with it.

We’ll tell you when you don’t need us.

If an off-the-shelf tool or simple configuration solves your problem, that’s our recommendation. Custom software is worth building only when it’s worth owning.

FAQ

Systems questions.

This page filters as much as it sells. Here is the honest version.

The Systems Opportunity Review is a bounded, fixed-fee engagement starting at $1,500. If a build is justified, most land between $5,000 and $20,000 depending on scope. We scope and quote before any development starts.

Most of the time you do not, and that is what the review is for. If configuring a tool you already pay for solves the problem, that is our recommendation. Custom software is worth building only when it is worth owning.

You do. Defined scope, acceptance criteria, testing, documentation, and a clear handoff are part of every build. You are not locked into us to keep it running.

Support is optional. Some clients take ongoing monitoring, training, and improvements; others take the handoff and run it themselves. Both are fine.
